The bride, who came out to a mostly empty venue on her wedding day, has responded to internet comments, explaining why people did not attend her big day. Kalina Marie, a TikTok user, became popular last week for all the wrong reasons when she released a video of herself storming out of her masquerade-themed wedding. There were only three people at the arena, significantly less than the expected attendance.
Kalina stated on social media that the epidemic had delayed their wedding after nine years together and four years of engagement. However, in January of this year, they finally chose a date for October and began sending out invitations. She stated that she had invited 75 individuals online and delivered 25 physical invitations to the elderly and others without social media. Finally, Kalina stated that she received 40 RSVPs, indicating that she expected that many people would attend the ceremony—but just five showed up. In the description of the original video, which has garnered over six and a half million views, she expressed her frustration, writing, “FIVE PEOPLE SHOWED UP!!!” Are you kidding me?!? As you can see from the video, we enter the venue. And no one is present. To add insult to injury, they postponed the event for an hour to see if anybody else would turn up, but she was ultimately disappointed after she ‘dreamed’ of stepping out to a packed crowd.
However, she concluded by adding, “Did we still make the most of it?” You can rest assured that we made the most of it. All I know is that I have a man in my life. My kid. I have relatives who are always there when I need them. After wondering why no one showed up, Kalina took the initiative. Kalina eventually recorded a complete reaction video four days after the infamous wedding. She responded to a comment that read, “So what was the reasoning behind it? All those people simply didn’t show up, and there was no explanation provided. “Plantation?” Initially, she talked about the invitation procedure, acknowledging that she had organized a Facebook event and revealing that her mother had prepared food for 40 guests, which she now planned to discard.
“I checked in with everyone the week off, and at least 20 people had gotten back to me saying that they were outfitted and that they were coming,” she told me. Kalina said, “The most important question is, why?” I’m uncertain if I could provide an answer to that question. I would tell you, but no, I haven’t gotten many texts explaining why people weren’t there or making excuses. She expressed her gratitude for this. Finally, the newlyweds concluded, saying, “For the most part, we’ve done a lot of deleting and re-evaluating our lives and just spent a lot of time appreciating what we have and what we had.”
